An online campus tour of the beautiful but expansive Mona campus of the University of the West Indies offers prospective students a comprehensive and immersive experience from the comfort of their homes. The virtual tour icludes but not limited to views of state-of-the-art facilities, including laboratories, modern lecture halls, and vibrant student common areas.

1. What is the duration of the course.
Two years.
2. How many courses do I need to do each semester.
Five courses, which is equivalent to 15 credits.
3. How many credits do I need to complete my Associate Degree.
Sixty credits, of which 6 courses or 18 credits must be compulsory general courses or foundation courses and 14 compulsory core courses.
4. What are the Associate degree programs that are available.
Business Management

5. How many semesters are there.
Three semesters, Semester I (Sep – Dec); Semester II (Jan-April);
Summer (Jun – July).
6. How do I know if i have to do the English Language Proficiency Test, EPLT.
If you have a grade 1 in CSEC English or a grade 1 or 2 in Communication Studies then you do not have to do the ELPT exam. Students who do not have these grades must sit the ELPT test or sit the course ACRS0003; Communication and use of English in semester I of your first year in order to do the compulsory course FOUN1001: English for Academic Purposes.
7. If I do not have CSEC mathematics or its equivalent do I need to to do a mathematics course.
Yes, you must do the approved remedial mathematics course MATH0900: Mathematics. This course is offered in the summer semester.
8. What are the technology requirements.
Students will need access to a computer and internet access.
9. Do we do final examinations.
Students are assessed and evaluated on a continous basis. This is done by various means such as assignments, class work, test, quizzes and reports. Each course has a detailed outline of assessment requirements with clear guidelines.
10. How do we register for classes.
You register for classes through or School Managment System, SCHOOL Sphere. here you sign up for classes as well as to construct your timetable and other schedules
